This year we hit a monumental milestone in the history of our beloved university orchestra – 45 years of musical excellence! This is why we organised two unforgettable concerts in January 2024.

On Friday the 19th and Sunday the 21st of January 2024 we performed in Opus 9 (Theresiakerk) in Maastricht. Unfortunately, personal circumstances prevented Enzo Kok from playing as our soloist. Fortunately, we found a great replacement in Gabriel Ariza. With only the pre-rehearsal on the concert days as joint rehearsal, we were of course extra nervous, but we still managed to perform the beautiful violin concert together. For these concerts we offered a number of free tickets to the Met Je Hart Maastricht foundation. The presence of the invited lonely elderly people, for whom this foundation works, made it even more special.
