On the 26th of June 2023, a picturesque summer evening, we celebrated our open-air summer concert together with Ravelin within the charming courtyard of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Maastricht University. Ravelin consists of Anita Verdonk, Josien Mennen, André Kok, Peter Verheijen, and Garry Halmans, five highly skilled musicians. Together we stepped into the world of French and Spanish melodies, filling the air with an energy that created a vibrant atmosphere and resonated beyond the last note. As the evening unfolded, a beautiful synergy emerged between the melodious Mediterranean tunes and the classical pieces. This fusion of genres showcased the harmonious blend of two distinct musical worlds, resulting in an experience that showed that when different cultures converge, something truly beautiful is born.
